Buffing your nails befor polishing is supposed to make the polish look better, and last longer.
So I buffed the nails on one hand and compared both hands after a week of polish wearing.

As you can see on the pictures, it kinda worked!
After a week the nails on my unbuffed hand looked awefull!! The nails I buffed did not stay chipfree but did look alot better.
I even noticed that the nails on the unbuffed hand broke off a lot more!
so overall worth buying a nailbuffer for!
oh, and by the way...
check out my dessert!

I do that and it really does make your nails look healthier and stay a wee bit more chip free! great blog hun, im following you :) XX
@ Catriona - I does work! I never buffed becouse I was scared buffing would make my nails thin and breakable, but they acctually made them feel thick and strong!
And thanks for the support hun! ♥
So jealous! Yummy.
Definitelu jealous!I cant get my hands on some Ben&Jerrys right now!
Another tip for the nail polish to last longer is to spray them with some alcohol, then wipe them, before you apply, it will take the oil away.
@ Marietta - thats a great tip!! Thanks! ♥
Now I really need to try it.
And yes, I'm jealous of your desert, haha.
Err, yes I am quite jealous of your ice cream! lol
I've given you an award on my blog!

I love the smooth even finish that buffing gives, the nail polish looks so nice afterwards!
Btw haven't forgotten about your question, it just needs a bit of digging on my own page first (cos I 've changed it a million times already to make it work)!
xx
it's obvious that it worked since normal people do use their right hand in everyday life much more frequently than the left one. so bad starting situation for such a test!
im a lefty.... "Normal" people do their homework befor they start criticizing people like that....
