CHI Volumizer

A looong time ago I saw the CHI Volumizer beeing demonstrated, end I've been wanting it ever since. It wasn't in stores up here jet, so I almost orderd it from the US.

But that wasn't necessary couse my favorite magazine Jackie offered it for free if you took a 2 year subscription! Wich was like half the price of just the CHI from the US! I even got a tiny bottle of Silk Infusion!

The CHI Volumizer works the same as any other straightner, but the plates are curved! So it's really easy to create volume at the roots, and curl your hair! But you can still use it to straighten your hair too! I faild the first few times I used it, couse you do have to get hang of the technique, but I just straightend the faild curls, and looked normal again!

So here's my befor and after shot! You can see that I don't need a straightner, my hair is naturally straight as can be... There's a wave created by slight layers at the front, but thats it!

This CHI is so versatile! You can make really perfect glamorous curls, up to messy beachy waves. And this time I did something in the middle! The curls stay put untill you wash your hair again. With me, the 2nd day, the curls had gotten more wavy but curls neeever lasted that long with me!

H&M Home

I don't know if H&M Home is available in a lot of country's, but it's relativly new in the Netherlands. I never was that interested tho... Just some plain towels, pillow cases, things like that. But when I saw this picture on their front page, I felt the need to klick it!

I actually love the autmn collection this year! It's still just towels and pillow cases, but this time they're pretty cute!! They made four catagories: graphic, colourful, natural and classic.

• Graphic has a lot of line designs.
• Colourful has funny stuff like wood print pillows.
• Natural is a more romantic/girly style with neutral colours. (yey!)
• Classic has a lot of the red white blue, sailor stuff.

Theese are my favorites!

Quick Tip!

Ever tried to shapen your kohl pencils on a hot day? Yeah... thats what I did on picture no. 1. The wood broke off and so did the tip. The product just had gotten too soft becouse of the heat, and I ended up trying to pick goo out of my sharpener.

A simple solution: Freeze 'em! The pencil will harden and become very easy to sharpen! You do have to do it right as you get them out, couse they will soften really fast... I just put them in my freezer over night and sharp them in the morning!

New Shoes + OOTD

Yup, new shoes again!

I've been trying theese on and putting them back every time I walked into a Zara store... I did like them! But the prize... they were 100 euros, and I thought I could find something similar for less. And then there was Sale! 1 pair left in my size for 30 euros!

Their not real snake leather, but it looks like it! It is real leather but it has fake scaley things... It makes them look and feel kind of vintage

OOTD

here I've got them on with some light gray jeans and a grey/hint of green blouse. Those are my absolute favorite jeans!! I got them a Zara about 2 years ago and I still wear them ALOT! I like how long they are. The black leather bracelet is one of my favorites too. I got it at the men's department of H&M. I seem to go there a lot for jewlery...

Maintaining my Tan

If you finaly got your sexy bronzed skin, you want to keep it like that for as long as possible right? If you moisturize your skin afterwards your tan will stay longer! Especially when you're bottle tanned, couse self tanners tan just your top layer skin, and if that dries out, it'll scrub right off... 

So here are the products that I use!

The Vasaline Aloe Gel and Nivea Creme. Like I said befor, I'm not a moisturizing kind of girl... I dont like that sticky lotion feeling. So when a saw that Vaseline bottle in a TiffanyD video on YouTube, I wanted to try it! 

It says it's a fresh body gel whith 100% natural Aloe Vera. It absorbs into your skin soo fast, and it smells really clean. It hides that self tan smell! 

Buttt for those really dry places that need a little more, like feet, legs and elbows, I use Nivea Creme!

It's a thick white creme, and at first it feels really heavy, but when you rub it in, it just kind of dissapears... So no sticky lotion feeling!! 

LITTLE TIP!

It's a very versatile creme, you can use it for practically anything. But I rub this into my nails when I take my polish off... It seems to make them stronger!

Mulberry Sale

The Mulberry Roxanne Tote. 

I love this bag! I've been in love with the original Roxanne bag ever sinds it came out. But this one is even a little better! It's got that sexy warrior woman look and it's huge! They have a smaller version, the Tote A4. But I like my bags big... ;) 

Unfortunately, it's probably not going to be mine, couse it's kind of expensive... Originally €950 (wow!) and on sale for €474. That's still a lot! Oh well... for now I'm just gonna stare at the picture.

My Lost Love...

This is my favorite nail polish! 

Sadly, its all used up. Only a thick sticky mess left.. And to make things worse the brand has gone out of bussines, so I cant buy a new one!!

It's a pearly light coraly pink, and the picture doesn't really show but it has a pink/purple sheen to it, so unique! The color was sooo pretty on my skintone.. I cant find a dupe for it anywhere... Its sad...

New Shoes!

Sinds the first time I saw theese shoes months ago on the H&M website, I've been on a mission to get my hands on them! I didn't want to order online couse I wanted to try them on first. But it kinda turned into mission impossible couse they were sold oud everywhere!! H&M did restock them several times, but within a day, all gone!

Even on the website sold oud signs were taking over... so I gave up... 

But then! I was just checking out the sales on the webside... and there they where!! On sale and in stock!! so for €20 and €5 shipping, my shoes finaly came to me!

So here they are! The bag I had for a while. It's my favorite and it matches the shoes!

My paler then pale feet do require a tanning lotion to not appear blue-ish compared with the creamy light beige, but they're summer shoes so thats oke.

They fit me perfectly but they're really high (12cm/4.7")!  I used to walk in high heels all the time, but some practise in in place now..  It doesn't matter, I love em!

Loreal Sublime Bronze Review

My skin is really fair. I hardly tan from the sun itself, I always get a nasty sun burn, and I don't have the patience to lay in a tanning bed for hours and hours... 

Sooo self tanners and me get along realy well!

I'm not a moisturizing kind of girl though... I hate the sticky fleeling lotions give me. Thats why im in love with the Loreal Sublime Bronzing Gel!

Like it says, it's a gel, so it dries really fast and it feels silky instead of greasy! The out-of-the-bottle-smell is nice, nothing too overwhelming. And the day after smell is not bad either! I hate the self tanner smell and this one is hardly noticable!

Its for body and face, and the only downside is that it can be a bit drying for your face, but I've got oily skin so I'm oke with that!

I'm very loyal to my gel, but when I saw a 75% off offer in my drugstore I couldn't resist! It's another Loreal sublime Bronze product, so I thought I couldn't go wrong whith it.

They came in a set of a spray for your body, and a tinted(?) moisturizer for your face. (There's a swatch of the tinted moisturizer on my hand)

They're both nice. The same before and after smell as the gel, the moisturizer made my skin feel realy soft and the spray dried even faster then the gel!

BUT!

With the moisturizer I only noticed the tinted part when I got home, and I feared a way to dark shade for my skin.. But when you rub it in, the color seems to disappear and a LOT of glitter appears! Really noticable when standing in sun or spotlight!

The spay you're not supposed to rub in, but I advise you do couse it makes funny spots if you don't...

Overall, I will be using theese, but the face moisturizer only at night becouse of the glitter factor and the spray to touch up my already (gel) tanned body.

Im a 21 year old engeneering student from The Netherlands and I got really inspired reading all of your blogs, and decided I wanted one for myself!
