Nailpolish - Sandy Pearls

A trend I've been spotting lately are pearly nail polishes in neutral, sandy colors. 

Left to right:

Catrice Eyeshadow

I saw that Catrice - a really cheap drugstore brand - had theese single eyeshadows (€2,75 a piece) I never tried them befor.. I mean, how good can such a cheap eyeshadow be... but I really like them! 

They're really soft, pigmented and stay put all day. I got 3 matte ones, so i dont really know about fall out of glitter, but there where some really pretty shimmery colours too! In total there where 32 colours to choose from.

The colours I got:

• a army green: 040 In The Army Now
• a dark gray-purple: 260 I am a Goal-Girl
• a light bone: 090 Bring Me Frosted Cake (wich is weird couse its a matte colour... so why they call it frosted ??)

The green and purple are really pigmented! The light beigey-bone doesnt really show on my skin, but I use it all over my eyelid after I primed it. It makes it look really smooth, and the shadows I put on top of it blend alot easier!

Normaly I never wear colour on my eyes... Only some browns or grays but alot of browns turn up a little yellow/orange on me and grays make my skin look dull..

My mom is a painter and she says that a lot of painters use army green or purples to create a natural shadow in skintones! So we thought that might work with makeup too.. and it does! theese look really flattering on me, and still look natural!
