My Favorite... Bags

The bags I've been loyal to for several years now. A small, medium and large one for every occasion!

big black one

This one I had for about a year now. Got it at YesStyle.com with the men's bags. I love the canvas and leather combination and that it fits everything I could possibly need to take out with me! Like to use it as my weekend bag.

the perfect medium

I got this one about 4/5 years ago at a random little boutique (don't remember the name). I saw it standing in the window and thought the tag said €350. So was really surprised when the lady inside corrected me and told me it was €35! SOLD!

Like the Little Black Dress, everybody needs the Little Black Bag. The perfect party companion! Mine I got vintage for €2! 

Fit's all the essencials and has alot of compartments, so everything is easy to find (feel) in the dark.

the trust fund

Fell in love when I saw this wallet a few years back at River Island. I needed a wallet that fits alot of cards, and this one was perfect. The "leather" is starting to wear off at the edges :( But I love it too much to replace it.

My Favorite...

... Shoes I bought in 2010

I bought theese booties at Mango last spring.

They're my favorite of 2010 becouse - first of all - I love how they look (obviously!!!) :) I love the flaps, the dainty laces and the camel colour! I wear alot of black and gray, and this makes my outfits just a little more interesting.

They're also very comfortable! Not too high and the sole is flexible so it moves with you as you walk.

Quick Tip!

For those of you who aren't the professional high heel walkers!

I find that those pumps with platforms you see alot theese days - gorgeous as they are, make you look like a walking barbie -> straight, non bending legs. If you find shoes with a flexible sole that moves with you, it feels (and looks) alot more natural to walk in!

No Uggs this winter!

It's getting cold in Amsterdam.... Really cold! And some snow-proof boots where needed. I've never been a Ugg girl, but considered buying them this winter becouse of the warm cosy-factor. Untill I found theese babies! Cosy, yet fashionable!

made out of that sweat pants kind of cotton, so very comfy!

and I like the pockets. Very layed back, yet classy :)

Silky, half transparant, loose blouse.

Very basic, but has some interesting details like the one big pocket and pulled up sleeves.

I needed some new basics for this spring!

Blazer: Zara

can't go wrong with a black blazer.

Jeans: River Island

I needed some dark wash jeans, but it came in several washes.

I liked the buckle details on the hips

Shirt: Zara

This print shirt reminded me of the YSL logo shirts. Wich I love, I would never pay that much for a simple shirt though... So this was a great dupe for € 16!

Also came in black, white and pink. But I like my gray's :)

Fashion Trends: Love and Hate

There'll always be fashion trends that you love and can't get enough of, and some trends you don't love so much and just don't understand why the whole world is wearing them..

Love:

Cropped Leather Jackets

Leather jackets have been all over stores for a while now, but for this spring/summer I spotted a lot of cropped ones in soft pastel colors.

I looove the leather trenchcoat one!

Hate:

Peep Toe Ankle Boots

Don't get me wrong, I love peep toed pumps and gladiator sandels, stuff like that! I just hate the ones that cover the whole foot, except for the toes. It just looks so weird to me to see a full boot with bare naked toes comming out!! It makes me think of a nice warm sweater with a hole cut out for the belly button.. (??) haha

It's finally spring in Amsterdam!! thank GOD! Winter was wayyy to long this year...
